Yes the policy amount depends on the car you drive. Also you need to look for the details when its renewal time and last but not the least drive safely.

Have you heard the news that talks about insurance? Well, in the news they have mentioned that several political figures are deliberating over the future of health coverage. The future of medical coverage, however, doesn't mean almost as much as the current cost. The individual insurance market has a wide range of costs, but many young individuals are simply opting to go without health coverage. A lot of us are having a hard time because of our bad economy. Some dont get a health insurance because it's expensive. Cost of insurance varies widely, but many choosing to go without.

If your car is old and paid for, consider eliminating your collision coverage. This is the coverage that pays for any damage that you cause to your own vehicle, and it makes up a big portion of your insurance cost. Before buying a new vehicle, call your insurance agent to find out how much it's going to cost to insure the vehicle. Premiums can vary widely based on the make, model and year of a vehicle. This is one instance where smart shopping really pays.

Thanks for sharing these tips! Here are a couple of things I’ve learned over the years:
1. Bundling your home and auto insurance can get you much very cheap auto insurance quotes and even save you a ton if you apply it to your current policy.
2. Several companies offer good student discounts, defensive driver credit, air bag and anti-theft discounts which can save you big bucks so you should ask your provider if you are eligible for any discounts they may be offering.

@bobby.bruno19: Tip 1 is really helpful. We have our home insurance and car insurance bundled through Porgressive. We had it separate but when we bundled it with Progressive we saved more than 30%. Progressive has a homeowners insurance calculator that would help you get an accurate quote if you would bundle your home and car insurance

These are useful for those who are planning to have their first car. They will be in a confusion while insuring the car and don't knwo what exactly they need to look into while insuring the car.
