chrysler car question.

Postby terginomer » Thu Jul 16, 2009 1:49 pm

I have a chrysler 1995 and when my car is cold- it revs up the rpms when I'm only going about 30-40 mph. Once my car is warmed up and I re start my car...it runs fine again. What could be the problem?

sounds like a computer glitch, or bad sensor, run a code scan :)

sounds like the transmission fluid may be low or the transmission needs to be checked

It sounds like your automatic choke is sticking. It will not harm your engine, but needs to be adjusted.

Hi,
I have read your problem about car, it's sound like problem of strok. If the revs are too high for too long and the engine is in the wrong gear, it can cause serious and costly damage.

Check transmission fluid it might be low or their might be transmission issue also sensors might be responsible for this problem .fix it up as early as possible as it can have bad effect on your engine .

Some days back my friend was also having the similar problem with his 97 van .When cold, it would not engage. He replaced the transmission filter, and put in fresh ATF+4 fluids. Empty the pan twice and refilled to make sure old fluid out of the torque converter as well.
