2006 Infinity G35, Lexus IS250, Acura TL or S-type and BMW 325I, which one should I buy.

I want to buy a 2006-2007 used car, and I have narrowed my opinions to Infinity G35, Lexus IS250, Acura TL or S-type and BMW 325I or 328I. Those cars are all around $20000 to $25000 range. Could you please help me to decide?

Also, is a Certified Pre-owned vehicle worth considering?

Thanks!!!

I bought a used Tl in South Dakota last week and saved a lot. I haven't had any problems yet. I only buy used cars. http://www.findusedcardealer.com

I have an Infinity G35. I love it. When I bought it I was torn between the Acura TL and the Infinity G35. After test driving them both. Infinity had me sold. For me the Acura was still too much like an ordinary car. The Infinity looks sharp, drives flawlessly, and has the speed and power over the rest in your list.

Re: 2006 Infinity G35, Lexus IS250, Acura TL or S-type and BMW 325I, which one should I buy. Infiniti G35 is sweet, I've

Infiniti G35 is sweet, I've driven them and currently work for Nissan. We get them to trade a couple times, and each time they are gone within a week or so.

Certified Pre-Owned gives you an additional warranty towards the power-train, plus it gets you an additional 142-point inspection on all the major components on the car. It costs the dealer $1000.00 dollars extra to certify a car, so remember when you look at prices that include a certification and those that don't. It is totally worth the extra, it really does make the car less expensive in the long run.

The competitor's cars don't have the Xtronic CVT transmission. Imagine an on-ramp of your local highway, take the car you currently drive, slam on the gas, what happens? You get rocketed to the back of your seat, then you lunge forward when the gears shift, then you repeat, 3 or 4 times until you are up to speed. Then imagine passing someone, slam on the gas again, you hear the engine drop down a gear, the engine gives the dull, hesitated roar, then you advance.

The first situation describes "shift shock," while the second describes the "passing gear." In the Infiniti G35 you loose both of those due to the technologically advanced transmission. Because of that, you also don't have to check the transmission fluid, and it gives a bit more life out of the engine (less parts to break).

The BMW is an excellent car, but you have to service it at a BMW place to get the best quality parts and service (which can get expensive on such a highend car), the Lexus is a nice riding car but you don't get a lot of the same technology in the Infiniti, and the Acura has a lot of maintainience issues that go along with the cost of ownership (timing belts, pumps, pads, etc.)

I think the BMW is the funnest to drive and maybe the Lexus would be going into the shop the least. I'd pick which one you like the feel of best. Maybe you've had experience with some of these car companies before?
